What's with #itsyourchurchtoo?
Our hashtag is our promise to LGBTQ+ siblings and their allies that whatever harm and hurt you've experienced in other church settings - the church still belongs to you too! UBC is a congregation in which you can worship, serve and share community. We call it life together. We gather to learn to love God, love ourselves and love each other better. We work together to serve the world with justice, kindness and humility. We need your presence, your gifts and your faith to change the church into a grace-filled loving community where every human being will be welcomed and affirmed as a child of God.

Should you visit, we'll be happy to meet YOU and let you lead the way as we get to know each other. No secret agendas, no tricks, no bait and switch tactics. We promise!

Also might be a little weird but no worries - we're just a friendly bunch. Someone will greet you, offer you coffee, maybe ask if you want to sit with them during worship. Someone else might invite you to lunch after or offer you a ride. We want you to feel at home and loved. If you are happier sitting alone or taking time to get to know people, that's fine too.

Totally cool! Set up an appointment with Pastor Annette or our new Student Minister, Laura Beth Buchleiter. Either of them would be glad to meet you for coffee and a chat. Then you will already know one person the Sunday you're ready to worship with us.
