Jesus is at the center of our life together. We believe God's grace is for everyone, so we seek justice, choose kindness, and walk humbly with one another. We don't have life all figured out—but we're learning to follow Jesus together.

We're students and professors, lifelong Bloomington residents and newcomers, young and old. We celebrate together, carry one another's burdens, and gladly get our hands dirty serving others. Different stories. One community.
Casual.
​We care about YOU, not what you’re wearing, so feel to come in jeans or whatever is comfortable. Our dress code is simple: wear something. Grab a hot cup of free coffee and a snack and sit wherever you’d like! 
Nice People.
We love welcoming first-time guests. Expect us to save you a seat. Tell us you're new, and we'll help you settle in. You won't be singled out or asked to give. We're simply glad you're here.​
Kids.
At University Baptist, children aren't an afterthought or a distraction. Kids are a part of the family. We welcome kids in worship, celebrate them during the children's message, and provide a loving nursery for our youngest ones.
