What is it?
A local interfaith discussion group called Noah’s Ark is forming new discussion groups to discuss faith, racism, and healing this fall. These will be racially diverse groups of eight who will meet monthly to engage in dialogue about our personal journeys in faith, in race and at the intersection of both, in our congregations and in the community. Participants will deepen their understanding of the richness, diversity and complexity of other faiths as well as their own. Conversations will span the spectrum from inspirational topics, to difficult and challenging ones. Topic titles will be known ahead of time.
Requirements.
Participants need to attend an orientation session on 8/25 or 9/8. Participants may also need to do a little preparation before each monthly dialogue session such as watching a video or reading a very short article.
