Our pastor, Annette Hill Briggs, graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1993. She served for four years as Director of Baptist Campus Ministries on the Indiana University Bloomington campus. In 1992, she became Associate Pastor at University Baptist Church and she has been the pastor of University Baptist since 1997.
Pastor Annette has been married for 20 years to Carl Briggs, a professor at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. They have three children, ages 17, 12 and 11. Her interests include knitting, sewing, reading, gardening, and IU Basketball. She also leads a troop of Junior Girl Scouts.
